a) What is the feeling you wanted your gum
package to portray? How did you achieve this?

I wanted to portray the feeling of freshness and i achieved it by light green and aqua colour to show freshness.

b) Who are you targeting your gum to? How did
you achieve this?

My gum is targeting to mostly teens and i schieved it my making official NBA gum and teen loves sports so it will target teens.

c) What area in your design did you use Photoshop?

I didn’t use photoshop in the assignment except the mint picture which i linked it to illustrator. I tried to use  illustrator because I know photoshop but our course is on illustrator so i used illustrator to learn more about it.

d) More marks are given to designs that are
custom created and not just taken from free
vectors or free stock photography. What part of your gum
package did you custom design?

I really worked hard to make the curvy gray arc and colouring it and took me so much time seriously.

a) What does your logo/tattoo represent?
b) How did you design your logo/tattoo to represent this?

Answers:

a) My logo/tattoo represent my Sikh(male) religion’s name “SINGH” which every Sikh(male) haves and it  is top of the world.

b) I put a crown on the top the name “SINGH” to represent that it is top of the world and to represent the power of a Sikh. “SINGH IS KING”

Class Task #7 – Layer Masks…Like Face Masks

Questions:

What happens when you paint part of the layer mask
…black? …white? …grey?

When i paint the layer mask with black it starts showing the other layer picture, with white the picture starts coming back and with gray it show the little bit of both pictures

Stress about School

Questions:

a) What were you trying to express and
how did you achieve this?

I was trying to express that how people are stressed from school by putting stressed picture and putting colours that makes stress.

b) What filters did you use and where?

I use filters in all of my pictures but i cant remember the names of them. I will give you the names next class.

c) What layer blending mode did you use and where?

I use some brushes then i blur them.

How did I do it?

I used clone stamp tool to bring back the cat’s eye and bring back the ripped newspaper. It was quite easy though.

Class Task #5 – Born Into Brothels

1) How did you enjoy the film? What stood out for you?
I enjoyed how Zana help children to get out of the brothel and giving them a new life.  I really enjoyed that when the kids went to school and they actually speak english with Zana.

2) Did you learn anything new about photography, life, people? What?
Yes, i learned something new that even by expensive, professional cameras we still can’t take very good pictures as that kids did because you needto get into it and enjoy it, that how you become a good photographer

3) How do you think the world needs to change?How important is this?

I think world need to stop the child labour, kids should go to school and people should help each other.

4) What are you willing to do TODAY to be a part
of that change?

I am willing to donate to charity to help kids like this.

We can create posters like our magazine assignments and let others know that there are people in the world who need clean water, nutritious food, health care and access to education.
